FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

washout on grass road edge, repeat notification

This issue has been fixed.

As previously advised on 17 July. Grass verge has been undercut by a washout, also a green plastic pipe has been exposed. On 18 July, the roading contractor to NZTA/Opus called me to advise that they have visited the site and advised that this is not part of their service area. They mentioned they would refer this issue back to TDC. I believe the pin placement on the map is accurate, about 2/3 way down the road from Wairakei drive to Contact Energy and Groundworks.

Request 1711405 closed at TaupoDC. Thanks for your report Doug. Higgins were on site repairing the washout yesterday, with completion today. Green duct integrity managed. Hydroseeding programmed for next growing season. Regards, Mark.
