FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

Speeding vehicles driving along the street

Speeding vehicles (trucks and cars) are being driven by along this street at high speeds most of the time. Dangerous driving at high speeds and the road needs a road hump for drivers to slow down. An accident is just waiting to happen to both passers-by, residents and other vehicles.

Speeding cars along our street is becoming a major concern given the proximity to Owairaka school and the narrowness of parts of the road. People are using Mount ROyal Avenue as a shortcut around Mt ALbert. Feeling very vulnerable as pedestrians on this street.
