Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

There are two issues with this intersection. The fencing contractors working in the paddock at the edges of both of these roads have left heavy mud patches on the road. After the recent storms, loose gravel has been dragged/blown into the corner.

The problem still exists where a trail of heavy clay has been left on the road going into an intersection. Gravel has also dragged into the corner. This is a serious saftey issue when it rains again. I believe the contractors are resposible to clean up after themselves as stated in the NZTA road code. Further photos of the problem are available if required.
