Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Short phasing of right turn arrow

The right turn arrow will usually only stay green long enough to allow traffic to turn into central park. This sometimes has traffic banking up back to the roundabout causing a blockage there. Also parents that drop off students at one tree hill college use this right turn to do u-turns resulting in near misses. Due to the lengthy delays of sitting through many phases to get a green there has been an increasing number of cars driving through the intersection to do a U-turn to get into central park or to go back to the motorway interchange.
