Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

In a residential street, Reilly Joinery have large trucks taking several reversing manoeuvres over footpaths & grass berms at the top of culdesac. A forklift & Reilly's blue truck is in the street to unload the large trucks on the rise of the hill, residence can't get past them. This is weekly. Now we here they are extending their building which will mean more traffic.

Updates

I believe they have started building to extend their Reilly Joinery business in a residential street. Every truck that visits that property has to use the culdesac and go down the street before turning into their drive. The drive is only wide enough for a car. Why weren't the residence in the street consulted on his extension before permission was given to build.
