FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

Request 163065 closed at Waitomo District Council. The odour complaint has been investigated, likely cause unrelated to the landfill, an incident overnight at Redwood Park resulted in a noticeable 'unusual' smell in the area. Ongoing monitoring and mitigation operations are being used at the landfill to ensure odour issues are avoided or reduced as much is possible
