FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

Tongariro St / Spa Road Roundabout Road Markings

This issue has been fixed.

The road markings on the Tongariro street / Spa Road roundabout are in very poor condition. Given that this is an unusual roundabout (partly two lane and partly single lane), that Taupo is a "tourist town" and that the roundabout has no signage these road markings are important. Present markings are a mix of current worn-out markings and old, different markings showing through; all very confusing.

Request 1616156 updated at TaupoDC. The Roadmarking Contractor is scheduled to commence the annual remark on the 7th November 2016 at which time this issue will be addressed. ie. Old markings waterblasted and new markings repainted.
