FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

Parked cars obstructing the road.

Cars park on both sides of the narrow road causing a dangerous situation of cyclists having to ride out in the middle of the road to get around parked cars and cars have to cross over the centre line to do the same but in some cases on blind corners. The problem is at the bottom of Maupuia hill off Miramar Ave between 9am and 5pm then between Ropa Lane and Zaida Way after 5pm. To make it safer there should be parking on one side of the road and not both, perhaps a yellow line on the Western side of the Maupuia Road starting from Miramar Ave to the Akaroa Dr. Has been discussed on Neighbourly.
