Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Updates

Streetlight between 142 to 150 Flatbush school road is out for more than a month. Hasn't been fixed.
The street lights outside 117-121 Flat Bush School Road and surrounding houses - approx 10 houses, has been out for over a month now. The light turns off every month or so and when fixed only manages to go another month before going out again. Can the issue please be fixed as half of the street is very dark and unsafe especially with young kids. Thanks, Bev
The street light outside 48-50 Taurus Crescent Beach Haven, has been out for over two weeks now. Opposite street light on a footpads between Taurus crescent and Lysander crescent doesn't work for years. This conner is creating a very friendly atmosphere for youth who drink alcohol there, brake bottles and leave rubbish. I live near the footpads and here it almost every weekend. And every week someone coming from from city council to remove litter and broken glass. The use of stairs is unsafe not only because of glass but because you don't know what to expect in the dark.
