FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Street lights have been off for weeks, repaired & worked for a night or 2 but off again for weeks now.

It is now Friday the 12th June and Langton Rd. Stanmore Bay has had no street lights for more than 3 weeks. Auckland Council told me that a street with NO lights is an "URGENT JOB" and that was 10 days ago. We have made numerous phone calls. Our street is narrow and has a small hill and several bends in it and is used by many cars as a short cut to and from Kauri rd./Brightside Rd and is so dangerous with no lights. I have been told it is now a Vector Job -- How long does Vector take to get it's act together????? WE would appreciate a call from someone explaining what the problem is that it cannot be fixed quickly. My phone No. is 09 424 5128

Street Lighting outside 203 201 Vipond Rd Stanmore Bay and 1 lea Place opposite and below has been out for a week or more. Appreciate if this is being looked at.
