Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

Storm water damage to road

You may wish to have a look at the damage being done by storm water on the road outside number 15 Heaton Terrace . The parking area now has a huge trench running through it from a large storm water pipe which does not go into the ground but simply spills all over the area as their is no guttering. Surely this pipe should be connected to the storm water system ?

Updates

Hi - just picking up on this complaint from someone else ...some totally ineffective holes have been drilled into the wall outside 15 .. perhaps by the council(?) .. Doesn't change the problem of storm water spewing all over the road and parking area ... Doesn't storm water really have to be piped below the road when so much of it is coming out of such a sizable pipe ??
