Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Hi, a tree has fallen towards the road and is being held up by the curb trees. Will need to be cut and removed. I live over the road and would be happy to take as firewood if available (we live at 1 Menar Lane over the road).

Hello A big branch from a tree on a berm fell a few months ago outside some vacant land that Kings college owns - residents have seemed to have dumped more green waste - it is an eye sore but what really annoys me is - it has become unsafe. The berm was mowed by Kings and the branches were dragged onto the road. I almost had a head on collison the other night when a car swerved into me to avoid the branches they didnt see until last minute. I sent an email to Kings and they cant be bothered which annoys me but said they would support my application to the council to have this cleaned. I dont care who owns it - its just not safe and its lazy on Kings behalf not to be actively looking after the road. I woudl shift it but have had two operations on my shoulders - and am not risking any more injury - can someone please coem and collect the green waste Thanks Miss G
Hello I should have stated that the branches are laying on Middlemore road Otahuhu
