FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

overgrown grass, fire risk

All of the reserve above the tennis courts (rough land,not reserve) on Jarden mile is a fire risk with current dry weather. Also, properties on Scott drive and Chelsea rise rarely have reserve mown, banks on council or Jarden development banks from 23 scott drive and above have not been weedwacked in over a year! Impending fire risk. Base of trees also overgrown, look forward to this being resolved

Request 1500572 closed at TaupoDC. This land is not Council reserve but is still owned by Jarden Corporation Limited. I have written to the owners telling them they need to mow the grass before it becomes a fire hazard
