Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Cycle lane along Lyttelton Street between approx. Stourbridge Street and Frankleigh is covered in loose gravel, left over from the roadworks in this area. Can this please be cleaned to provide a safe cycling surface? Also, to prevent this occurring in other places, it would be great if road repair crews were asked not to leave gravel etc in cycleways for future road works. Many thanks.

Updates

Road noise on Frankleigh st is becoming a real issue within our house as traffic is getting heavier and faster on the road. New road surface has made no difference. I am very worried that once the cycle lane is built, the traffic lanes are pushed closer to our house and noise will become even worse!
