FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

Speeding on my street

I live in Helena Street, Massey, Auckland and nearly every day cars speed past my house which is disruptive and dangerous. I am 18 and i live with my nephew who is 12 and i fear for his safety when travelling to and from school. I have been wanting to inquire about getting a speed bump on my street to possibly reduce the amount of speeding there is. The amount of speeding here has resulted in the loss of two of my cats (over the course of 2 years) and The people responsible for this have not learnt their lesson nor have they changed their bad habits. IN NEED OF A SPEED BUMP!

Hey check out the speed humps on Castleford Street in Greenbay. These have to be the best and most effective humps in NZ. They slow cars down but they also let cars travel at the legal speed - or near to it (but on the lower side) Just putting it out there team Pete
