Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Car parking on blind corner causing danger to other vehicles

We have regularly parked vehicles on the road outside 19 Olivia Crescent (which is obviously convenient for them as it's their address) however this means that other cars coming around the bend have to go onto the other side of the road. This is extremely dangerous as it's a blind corner and we and others have had many near misses. I wonder if there could be some yellow lines painted on this area to ensure this stops happening? The other issue on this street is the lack of a footpath which is also difficult for pedestrians (and children in particular).
