FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Low branches obstructing traffic

This issue has been fixed.

Several oak trees in Ward Place need the lower branches removed to allow tall vehicles past safely. The trees could also do with thinning. Please don't remove the entire trees as they are lovely.

Request 1303322 closed at TaupoDC. trees have been lifted to clear vehicular and pedestrian traffic. Trees will not be thinned due to the amount removed already. Also, some have been topped by the residents
