Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

There are two large 4WD vehicles that are constantly parked up on the footpath at the safe crossing point right outside Manning Intermediate school on Hoonhay road (Outside number 49 Hoon Hay Road). These vehicles are constantly parked there up on the footpath, and children have to come between the vehicles (both of which are large 4WD's) to cross at the safe crossing point. I have witnessed a few close shaves due to this issue. Licence plates are similar to EMA**** and GB*****. Please can something be done to stop them parking on the little jutting out bit of the footpath and causing a safety issue to school children crossing busy Hoon Hay Road.
