Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

There is a post right in front of 44 Roseman Ave with a cable being pulled out by kids in this area. It's getting worse by the day and might be dangerous at some point soon.

Updates

To whom this may concern, In October 2017 My property situated at 74a Royal Road, Massey had a temporary telephone line concrete post erected at the corner of my property. This was due to the neighbouring new development who had to make way for the new road. The underground power was connected however the telephone and fibre green lines have been left unfinished and exposed to weather conditions for over 9 months now. I have not been able to utilise my garden or access this and the unfinished work has caused weeds and overgrowth over the months have even caused my fruit trees to not grow. I have contacted Chorus who have stated that this is not their pole as they do not do concrete posts but only wooden posts. I told them that I saw chorus workers erect this post in 2017 thinking it was only temporary. It has been 9 months now I cannot build my retaining wall or fenceas post is on corner of my property and has delayed renovations on my property, I would like to charge whoever owns this problem but want to make sure that it is not a council issue as Chorus has stated that it is a AT or council problem to complete unfinished work and remove post. case manager: Raziya Yasmin | Case Manager Chorus | T : 0800 600 100 | DDI : 09 975 1674 I would like the council to make contact with me so I can get to the bottom of who is sorting this. Kind Regards
