Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Street Light pole hit by vehicle & never replaced.

This lower section of Green Lane is very dark at night for pedestrians using this end of the street. The first light pole in the street was smashed quite a number of years ago & never replaced. In the last fortnight a new road crossing has been installed about where there was once a street light outside the Hill School. With the new crossing in place there is now obviously a need to illuminate the crossing and reinstate the street light that has been missing for so long.
