Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

I reported this problem over a month ago. Nothing has happened. The unsightly stump is still there, and with the beginning of winter and storms it is urgent that the gum trees are removed.

Thank you for your enquiry. Request 1209686 has been officially lodged and assigned to the relevant staff member at TaupoDC. Future updates to this request will appear on this page. Onsent to Parks and reserves for reply
Request 1209686 updated at TaupoDC.
Request 1209686 closed at TaupoDC. TDC has completed the trimming of overhanging vegetation from the Mapara Rd bank between Acacia Hieghts Dr and heading towards Acacia Bay. While the contractors were on site they removed a number of small trees and limbs from Acacia Heights Dr. Larger trees and stumps will be left until budgets allow for their removal. The district has a large number of trees potentially vulnerable to wind. These vegetation issues required assessing and prioritising, for most effective budget spending.
