Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

My road code has superfluous rules in it

More motorist should read up on their road code, under STOPPING AND PARKING it says "You must not park your vehicle: *on the right-hand side of the road except in a one-way street. ......" I would not give a toss but someone (motorist no doubt) knock down a "P5" sign and moved it to the walkway between between Grandstand road north & Park road, if they stop wasting my time & the time and money of Auckland city council then I would not worry about motorist parking on the wrong side of the road in a two way road NOTE in the middle between Grandstand road north and Grandstand road south there is a grandstand blocking the road is a padlocked bollard. THERE MUST BE A VALID REASON WAY THESE RULES ARE IN THE ROAD CODE
