Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

CBD mums with babies walking from the pools at parnell encounter a few problems along the way. Walking with a pushchair along The strand, Parnell towards the intersection with parnell rise and beach road. The first problem is vehicles belonging to companies like 'firestone' blocking the whole footpath, causing us to have to walk out on to fast moving traffic. Second problem was under the bridge, walking towards the intersection, it is difficult to push a pushchair on this footpath because of the amount of large 'granite?' parking stones which have spilled over onto the footpath. I don't know how a wheelchair user would access this street.
