Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

The City Council street light at top of shared drive serving 22, 24, 26, 28 & 32 Hollies Crescent, Johnsonville 6037 have not been working for about a week now. It also appears that whenever the light is supposed to be working, some interference from its sodium lamp stricking mechanism has been affecting the neighbourhood's UHF Freeview reception, driving us into frustration, not to mention a Health and Safety concern as there is an elderly lady living in 22 Hollies Crescent. A picture of this street lamp is enclosed. Thanks for your prompt attention and action.
