Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

The street light doesn't work most of the time, although it does switch on now and then. There have been burglaries last year, therefore a risk.

Updates

From the Fitzherbert ave lights to my flat area (1/76 Te Awe Awe Street) The street lamps do not work and have not been working for awhile now. They first went out in a area power cut but then came back on for a week or so and have now been out again for around 1-2 weeks.
The street light between street address number 875 and 881 (Main Street) doesn't work properly, it switchs on and off for around last 2 weeks.
