Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Hi there, At the end of Gibbons Road is a rugby park which is also used for Touch and also a beach. This causes large amounts of traffic at times (Saturdays and evenings mainly) There are many cars which go down the 50km/h road at excessive speeds or go from the corner of Gibbons Rd and Weymouth Rd up to 50 km/h as fast as they can, with so many children and dog walkers using the footpath I am concerned that someone is going to run someone over if a ball goes on the road or a dog gets loose off its lead. Please consider putting one or two speed humps along Gibbons Road. I have spoken to a few neighbours and they all agree.
