FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

The corner of King and Mapara Rd (and the corner of King and Ross Rise) has no 'barriers' of any sort to stop vehicles cutting over the edge of the road, causing stones to be spread over the intersection. This is an on-going problem, and is a danger to traffic (and windscreens), particularly motorbikes. My suggestion is to run a section of kerbing along the road side to stop vehicles going over the edge of the road and ripping up the asphalt. Regards.

Request 1120691 closed at TaupoDC. Intersection has now been swept of loose aggregate. Edge markers instal to assist define intersection radii.
