FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

Broken glass on the cycle path

there is a lot of broken glass on the cycle path on the western hutt road, so it's very dangerous for the cyclists. And it's getting more every day.

Presuming you mean the cycleway situated alongside State Highway 2 from Petone overbridge to Ngauranga. Glass or rubbish on this cycleway should be referred to New Zealand Transport Agency. We have forwarded your complaint to the appropriate officer there.

There is broken glass on Dowse Drive on the left side of the road about a third of the way up the first ecline, must near the public notice board. There is more broken glass on the left side of the road on the long encline just before the bus stop after the first set of corners. Gretful if this can be swept up as it is a danger to road users.
