Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Updates

Hello team, Id like to report high speed vehicles going through Sandspit Rd Waiuku. the street is a straight line that allows people to speed over the limit limit (50km/h). Clearly you can hear cars go over 80 or more Km/h which creates a high risk for pedestrians, kids, pets etc. Is there a possibility to start a speed limit study in the street? to put in place any measures that help reducing the risk of a serious accident? (Speed bumps, cameras?) looking forward to your reply Regards Juan Castano
