Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Moss growing on the road

There is a lot of moss growing on this and surrounding roads. We loose tracktion in our cars and bicycles. I have fallen off my bike while turning into my driveway.

I wrote sometime ago about the weeds growing in the gutters on the bridge. They eventually were sprayed (Thank you) but the clumpy bits left leave it looking untidy. Is it possible for this to be attended to or should I get my spade and go do it?
