Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

other FIXMYSTREET users please report these eScotters.

If you find them left in the "Lets trip up the pedestrian" position, there is a possibly that the council can not do anything for the moment, but if we keep reporting it something mght be donem or else they will never know, you need to report it to the people who put the name on it, but I get cheesed off and dont have the information to hand , I just move them twice this weekend I have moved 2 of them

Updates

sent to Radio NZ news 25th December 2018, interesting how they never updated the ACC claim story, in a later news bulletin. but then who gives a poo on prevention. Dear Radio news. Regarding your news items on seasonal ACC claims Personally I would feel like a dork if I fell off a chair attending to a Christmas tree. The trouble is while it is good to get ACC funding on serious injurys, those who get over excited in making claims for non serious and trivial accidents, they might find it harder to get good employment at a later date if their curriculum vitae carries a strong accident history, that can be and is supplied to a employment agent by ACC if they request it I hope that these comments if they do not help your listeners, might help you in the news room, and this is why I have a very strong hate-rid towards eScooters when they are left in a “lets trip up a pedestrian” position, they seem to forget accidents happen so fast, that is why we have Road deaths so often.
