Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

It is faded dull gray. And would not be very visible to the Visually Impaired Pedestrian (V.I.P.) or is this just a plan to make people slip on them and push up our ACC levy (Accident Compensation Corporation) even further? I always avoid them but the other night it was raining and I was trying avoid the rain and fortunately only lost shoe traction. This is the same story, I go to "safe working practices" every two years and I get the same old theme every time W.G.A.S. then another accident occurs, My last job I was walking between Newmarket & Pakuranga each work day and back again, I NEVER HAD ONE SPOT OF TROUBLE WITH FOOTPATH SAFETY.
