Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Hello. Please could we have a street light installed on the lamp post opposite the Kaurihohore Church at (59) Apotu Rd, Kauri. We have regular night meetings here, and with people parking on the side of the road, as well as in the carpark, it would be safer to have some lighting. Especially as a number of the users are elderly. Thanks for looking into this. Rev Martin Dickson

Updates

Hi, Rawhiti street, Morningside, Whangarei needs a street light or another This street is a dead end street with a elderly complex, northland soccer club rooms, bagpipes hall and private residential. Over the years at the end off the street there has been violence, drug use, rubbish disposal, theft only to name a few unwelcome attention to the end off this street. Lighting is visible but not highlighted enough, possibly a street light will help prevent future incidents. Please help keeping our street safe !
