FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

Traffic light/pedestrian malfunction

On the corner of rangitikei and Featherston, the pedestrian crossing (on the corner connected to the Countdown store) is malfunctioning. While you can press the button to cross, it does not give any feedback (sound nor touch) to indicate it’s safe to cross the road, meaning people often miss their chance to cross. This issue has been going on for at least two weeks.

Turning left from Ruahine St onto Main st around 6.00am most week day mornings the left turning lane doesn't seem to trigger a light change to green
