Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Outside CNR Triangle and Makora Road there have been four significant car/bike crashes within the last six months. Plus you could average this to one a month over the years with at least two minor ones a month. just guessing This road needs speed bumps to slow drivers down/ or Traffic lights before more crashes occur. However since the road has become a main highway and bypass for the motorway more cars and bicycles are using extreme speed coming down the hill. and there is not enough room coming from Lincoln to Makora to turn right into Makora. I myself had to help save a bike riders life and am sick to death of hearing the thumps and squeals so bad that I can tell if I need to go down and offer first aid.
