Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

THIRD TIME LUCKY? AGAIN, THERE IS NO WAY CARS SHOULD BE ALLOWED TO PARK ON BOTH SIDES OF THE ROAD ON KAIMIRO. IT IS NOT WIDE ENOUGH FOR THE TYPES OF TRAFFIC GOING THROUGH. WE HAVE LARGE TRUCKS AND CONTAINER VEHICLES. IT IS RIDICULOUS, YOU HAVE TO PULL OVER EVERY TIME THERE IS ONCOMING TRAFFIC. IT IS THE SAME WITH THE BOULEVARD. WHOEVER IS SAYING THE ROAD IS WIDE ENOUGH HAS NO IDEA I'M SORRY. MAYBE ASK THE PEOPLE THAT USE THESE ROADS ON A DAILY BASIS. THE CONSENSUS WILL AGREE, ITS DANGEROUS HOW IT IS. TODAY A TRUCK GOT STUCK AND BLOCKED THE ROAD FOR OVER AN HOUR. IF THERE IS NO ISSUE, AS YOU SAY THE ROAD IS WIDE ENOUGH, THEN WHY DID THE TRUCK GET STUCK? THEY HAD TO GET SEVERAL PARKED CARDS TO MOVE TO GET IT OUT. IF THE BOULEVARD IS WIDE ENOUGH, WHY IS ATTWOODS MOVING BECAUSE THEY CANT DEAL WITH IT ANYMORE? THIS IS A BIG ISSUE. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT BEFORE THERE IS A MAJOR ACCIDENT.
