Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Partly fixed ratling bus stop 3623 with the wind

This bus stop is unreal, the wind constantly rattles the loose glass windows, I managed to shove a dry leaf in-between the glass and the frame work, the window one has to look though for the waiting bus I managed to fix by folding up one dead tree leaf, the window looking out to the road was a bit harder I had to put a folded dead leaf on both sides. Even if I had a ladder, I do not think I could fix the rattling roof, it was alright the other day when the wind was not so bad. I wonder if that is the reason there is so much graffiti on the bus stop because is seems to by the only bus stop I have been to that rattles so much
