Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Hi there, I live down a long shared driveway which services eight properties (9 - 19 Storey Ave). There is currently a large pothole in the asphalt. It can be avoided but would be very dangerous if a cyclist ran into it. Can this pleased be repaired? Thanks, Rachel

Hi there, I live down the end of a shared drive which occupies 7 properties. McConnell Lane, in Chartwell. There are several potholes down the lane which has taken an effect on my vehicle after only living here for 5 months and has effected the tyres on my car. There are several deep potholes down the lane and there are children that ride bikes etc that occupy these houses so it severely affects their safety when riding these bikes. The potholes cannot be avoided as they are in the middle of the lane. This issue needs to be fixed as soon as possible, thank you.
As my husband uses a walking frame the state of the total Ann Street footpath is in total disrepair and has caused him to stumble and on three occasions almost falling over. Because of this we can no longer go walking and the river path is also very uneven. Hoping this footpath can be replaced as soon as possible.
