Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Updates

For over a week now the street light on Matai Street, Waikanae opposite Tawa Street has not come on when the others in the area have. Odd nights when I've got up during the night I've seen it on as it shines into my home - so there must be a fault with the time it is normally scheduled to come on every evening. This is opposite a T intersection and is very dark given their are parked cars outside some houses and a few "hoons" that travel along Matai Street using it as a\a road race. Would appreciate for all residents around here that this street light be fixed please. Thanks
