Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

To whom it may concern, As this area has become increasingly busy and continues to develop, this intersection becomes easily congested which can cause safety risks for some drivers. I have noted that most cars passing the intersection on the Dairy Flat highway are speeding well over the 50km/h speed limit. It is also hard to see if cars are approaching the intersection from Albany Village as some plants are obstructing a clear view. Please would you conduct your own research/observations and then please consider a roundabout (or traffic lights) to regulate traffic flow and speed? There are traffic lights at the next intersection within Albany Village carrying similar traffic. Thank you.
