Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

The footpath pads are frozen and not able to activate the lights. This is going to be a huge issue from 8.20am with the school crossing. We have constant issues with these lights not activating. Re-setting on a Friday at 2.55 is not happening for over ten minutes. Not a great system for young children in rain, snow, hail or winter full stop. Staff have so many complaints we have given up. Thanks and we hope you look into fixing our issue.
