Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

No right turning arrow from Memorial Ave onto Roydvale Ave

There is no right turning arrow from Memorial Ave onto Roydvale Ave as motorists head towards Sir William Pickering drive. This is an increasingly busy area with many businesses forced to this side of town. The lack of a right hand turning arrow means that, at times, the right turning traffic backs up as far as Kendal Ave. Motorists are also taking risks to make the turn by entering the intersection when the lights are orange and red, simply to get around the corner. This situation is also interfering with traffic heading towards the airport on Memorial Ave.
