Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Request 1206896 updated at TaupoDC.
Request 1206896. I see some debris has been removed. I expect to see that the tree stump will be removed also, and the area returned to its clean state, where the grass can be mowed. The two trees leaning towards the road reported earlier need urgent attention before the winter weather.
Request 1206896 Still no action after a month. Please advise your intentions.
Response on 4/4/2012 : " This site has been programmed for tidy up next week. Remaining trees will be assessed by a tree expert during the next month. Any unstable trees will be treated as required.". The FixMyStreet request was not auto-updated by the TDC Service Request system, this has has been manually updated instead.
