Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

the left side of "7" pole sign back plate flapping in the wind, would hate to think if it came off, it might hit a motorist, and someone might get sacked, mind you if it hit a pedestrian it would be just another yawn, and someone would get a extra bonus in their pay! Corner Khyber pass & Mountain road photo is looking up over the Auckland southern motorway. By the way, I think someone might of walked into a sign placed at "face height" ONLY NEEDED FOR MOTORIST, BUT IT WAS THE PEDESTRIANS WHO MIGHT OF GOT HIT WITH ALL THE PAIN somewhere near Auckland CBD, because it is not visual visible so well at night for pedestrians who might walk into it,, I did not notice it was missing last night when I walked pasted it, but it was positively gone this morning.
