Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

A Douglas Fir Tree branch is broken hung up and one on the ground. It has been like that for a week but no Council staff attended it. A few months back the same tree had a branch fall onto the 33KV lines and Council staff could have attended (Ms Gordon knew of that incident because another tree fell beside it and was cleaned up by locals) to preventative maintenance then but didn't. The tree needs arborist to attend to it before the next windy day.
