There is a traffic island near the last corner heading towards Bottle Lake entrance that is an accident in the making. Vehicles on both sides mean it is impossible for two cars to pass and we have constant problems with drivers speeding to get through first and the other day I was almost knocked off my bike as a large car and horse float went past. I would guarantee hardly any pedestrians use this and I understand you put this in to slow traffic without asking residents and with the houses on bothy sides you have simply created a hazard and I feel this should be removed altogether or yellow lines extended beyond the house this structure is opposite. We are all awaiting the day the Council do what they passed many many years ago for all traffic to park and golf course to go through Landfill Rd and only residents can come down Waitikiri Drive. an area that has enough hassles already with parking for local workers has now lost additional car parking, and in its place we have some plantars and judder bars. absolute genius use of our rates and taxes. thank you to the pedestrians who are too intellectually "pedestrian" select a safe place to cross the street and instead expect the council to inconvenience all other road users to suit you. no surprises that Auckland transport went along with it though really is it. but not a war on cars right? right?

Hi It looks like the street lamp outside our house had blown out and the glass lamp cover has come lose and it is swinging. Towards the bottom of the lamp there is a cover plate and it looks like it something short circuited as there is a powdery residue on the outside of the plate. We park our car on the road and I am worried the the lamp cover will fall off and damage our car. Thank you Juanita

They have promised me thou that they will be filling potholes between N-Smith St and Spa Rd r-about early tomorrow morning. We are at present considering option for a more permanent repair to the surface through this section. Regards, Mark
