FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

Derelict abdoned car

A small car abandoned on street by people looking ing on street. Front bumper removed, wires hanging from car, flat rear driver side tyre, window left open. Car is full of water, dirt and car parts. Not registered or warentted. Has been there for over a month with no attempt to move it by owners. Causing problems for people using the street.

Is there a way to prod the council on this issue. It has been tagged for removal on December 19th but as of yet the council has yet to actually remove. The owners are systematically stripping the car
