Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

The tree along the shared path on Innes Road between Brigg Road and QE2 Drive need lifting. A present it is difficult to ride some of this because of low hanging foliage.

The trees at the back of the library in Goulding Ave, Hornby, Christchurch the house that I'm renting backs on to that reserve, It has huge huge trees hanging over the fence these trees are very high and with the servear winds we had for the last two days have been very scary we have been unable to sleep due to pieces of the trees falling on our roof, we thought the whole tree was going to come down in our bedrooms this was very disturbing as I work long hours and need my sleep, can there be anything done to take the trees down or trimed because they are causing so much stress to my son, my granddaughter and myself , as she is scared that the trees are going to fall on Nancy's house in her bedroom Please please please can something be done about the trees Kind wishes Leanne Guest 12/9/2013
