FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

I think it is time to completely redo the Acacia Bay straight footpath, it is used frequently and compared to other cycleways a lot more than others, it is very rough to ride bikes on, therefore some bikes ride on the road, which really is not wide enough for them.

Request 1513837 closed at TaupoDC. Thanks for your message. Over the passed months we have been carrying out patching of various damaged areas, removing of grass over-growth, and improving drainage from the path. Its hoped that we'll be able to resurface the path this coming Summer. Mark.
