Taking a break...

FixMyStreet is going offline shortly, probably permanently. The software is old and needs a complete rewrite, the site is being bombarded by spammers, and it is debatable whether councils are receiving and/or acting on FixMyStreet reports.

As of now, it is not possible to post new issues, or updates to published issues.

If you have submitted on FixMyStreet, thank you for playing a part in one of Aotearoa/New Zealand's early civic tech projects.

The traffic lights when heading west from the city along great north road - at the intersection of great north road and titirangi road are short phasing. Traffic has been congested through that intersection for a few weeks and I noticed tonight at 5.30 pm being peak time only around 15 cars are making it through the lights.

Updates

When turning right from Dawson on to Preston Road there is at least a wait of up to 4 mins with a stream of cars behind then when the lights do go green by the time 3rd car from front enters the light is on amber. this phase has only just changed in the last 2 weeks also very frustrating. Seems as if Preston Road have all the say.
The phasing on chapel road and Stancome Road has changed so that the traffic backs up all the way down chapel while there is nothing on Stancome.
The traffic lights at the intersection of Pakuranga Road and Ti Rakau Drive are short phasing when travelling along Pakuranga Road and right turning into Ti Rakau Drive in the morning. The traffic is building up along Pakuranga Road as not enough cars can go through the green light.
